Hi, I'm Ginny

LCSW, DCSW, SAP

Long before I became a therapist, I was the person friends naturally turned to when they were struggling, feeling overwhelmed, or simply needed someone to talk to. That instinct to listen and connect has stayed with me throughout my life and continues to shape the way I work today.

I began my professional career teaching in New York City, where I spent four years working closely with students and their families. During that time, I realized I wanted to support people in a deeper, more meaningful way as they navigated life's challenges. I returned to school to pursue my Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) at Adelphi University, and a few years later, earned my Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Florida.

Since then, I've continued to grow and evolve in my work through ongoing study and training in mood disorders, substance use, trauma, and current, evidence-based approaches. I genuinely value staying current so I can offer thoughtful, effective care to the people I work with.

I've also spent many years providing wellness seminars for corporate and governmental organizations, which has given me a meaningful window into the real-life pressures and challenges people face at work — and how those experiences can impact overall well-being.

On a more personal note, in my spare time you'll often find me playing with my dog, Maggie, as well as spending time with family and friends. I'm a voracious reader and an avid traveler, always curious about people, places, and experiences. I'm also a proud mom and grandmother — roles that continue to bring me joy and perspective.
